8:30 a.m. | Arrive at SEP
I live two blocks from SEP! My commute would be five minutes or less.
8:30 – 8:45 a.m. | Check Email and Review To-Dos
I like to spend the first 15 minutes of each morning prepping for the day by checking email and reviewing my to-do list.
8:45 – 11 a.m. | Work
I jump into work right away, including anything from web design to branding. I use the first hour to finish anything outstanding from the day before. If I have to go to an off-site meeting, I prefer to do that in the morning.
11 a.m. – Noon | Meeting/Collaboration
Before lunch is a great time to brainstorm with coworkers and meet about projects. I love the ideation process, especially talking and drawing out a project.
12 – 12:45 p.m. | Lunch
I like love lunch! (And breakfast. And dinner.)
12:45 – 2 p.m. Administration
The post-lunch hour is my peak time to complete administrative tasks.
2 – 2:10 p.m. | Pingpong Break
Not gonna lie, that pingpong table looks awesome. And 2 p.m. is when my second wind breezes in.
2:10 – 5:30 p.m. | Work
The approaching end of the work day tends to light a fire in me. Especially for logo design. Post-2 p.m. seems to be my golden hour (or three) for creative problem solving.
